The new 7-inch Atomos monitor recorder comes full of power and integrates ProRes RAW up to 8K 30p, 6K 50p & 4K120p with full codec flexibility choice between ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD & H.265 (HEVC). Shogun Ultra feature 2000 nits brightness, IN-OUT 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 In & Out, Wi-Fi-E, Ethernet and AirGlu.

The newly introduced AtomOS 11, operating within the Shogun Ultra system, offers filmmakers a range of exclusive monitoring and recording features like RecordAssist/PlayBackAssist, Arri False Colour and EL Zone essential for today’s demanding productions. When paired with professional cameras, Shogun Ultra extends their capabilities and seamlessly integrates them into workflows without limitations. Through Shogun Ultra, creativity and technology converge, unveiling innovative ways to revolutionise our industry.

Shogun Ultra. Two Faces: Local and Cloud

Local: as a monitor recorder Shogun Ultra offer HDR screen, new monitoring tools and both HDMI and 12G SDI. Record in ProRes RAW up to 8K 30p, 6K 50p & 4K120p with full codec flexibility choice between ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD & H.265 included, Shogun Ultra has all this covered.
Cloud. Shogun Ultra maximises its power by enabling directly from the unit itself Dual Record ProRes RAW/H.265 for Camera to Cloud. Its versatility extends with SDICine which offers automated matching filenames, timecode synchronisation and record triggering from ARRI, Canon, RED and Sony SDI cameras. Save valuable time by uploading master-quality 4K H.265 files to the cloud in real time while recording. Shogun Ultra supports up to 4K NDI, AirGlu wireless timecode and control and WiFi 6E ensuring a more stable connection and enhancing your cloud video workflow.
AtomOS 11 will also be made available to existing Shogun Connect users via a firmware update. This update brings Shogun Connect users the full suite of Shogun Ultra features. Going forward, Shogun Connect will be replaced by Shogun Ultra.

Atomos RemoteView for Shogun Ultra

Introduced with the new Ninja Series including Ninja and Ninja Ultra, Atomos RemoteView revolutionises wireless transmission. Shogun Ultra is capable of sharing its screen with any other Shogun/ Shogun Ultra / Shogun Connect / Ninja V Series / Ninja / Ninja Ultra with Atomos Connect device as well as with iPads, Macs and Apple TVs wirelessly in the same premises or anywhere in the world.
