1. Introduction
ADIpro (hereinafter “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website adipro.ca, a B2B platform dedicated to the distribution of professional audio, video, and musical instrument equipment to Canadian dealers. We are committed to protecting the personal information of our users and handling it in compliance with applicable laws, including the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (R.S.Q., c. P-39.1), as amended by Law 25.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect your personal information when you visit our site or use our services.

3. Personal Information Collected
We collect the following personal information depending on how you interact with our site:

4. Purposes of Processing
Personal information collected is used solely for the following purposes, which are proportionate to ADIpro’s business needs:
- Dealer Account: Create and manage your dealer account, provide access to the portal, and process your orders.
- E-Commerce: Process purchases, issue invoices, and arrange delivery of products.
- Customer Service: Respond to your inquiries submitted via the contact form or by phone.
- Statistical Analysis: Measure website traffic, analyse navigation trends, and improve content and user experience.
- Legal Obligations: Comply with applicable accounting, tax, and commercial legislation.
5. Legal Basis — Consent
In accordance with Law 25, we base our processing of personal information on your free, informed consent given for specific purposes. Consent is obtained:
- Upon dealer account registration, by voluntarily completing the registration form and accepting this policy;
- At the time of placing an order, by completing the checkout process;
- Upon submitting the contact form, by sending your message;
- For analytical cookies, through your acceptance via the consent banner displayed on your first visit.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, without prejudice to processing carried out prior to such withdrawal. To do so, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected] or use your account settings.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our site uses cookies to improve your browsing experience. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit the site.

- Functional Cookies: Essential to the operation of the site (account login, shopping cart). These cannot be refused.

7.1 Service Providers

7.2 Legal Obligations

7.3 Cross-Border Transfers
Certain service providers (including Google LLC) process data outside Quebec, notably in the United States. In accordance with section 17 of Law 25, before any such transfer, we assess whether the destination country provides adequate protection of personal information and enter into appropriate contractual agreements. 8. Your Rights
In accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, you have the following rights regarding your personal information held by ADIpro:
- Right of Access: Know whether we hold personal information about you and, if so, obtain access to it.
- Right to Rectification: Correct or complete any inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous information.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent to processing, with effect for the future.
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your information when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal retention obligations.
- Right to Data Portability: Receive, in a structured and commonly used technological format, the personal information you provided to us. (Art. 27 of Law 25, in force since 2024.)
- Right regarding Automated Decisions: Request that decisions concerning you not be made solely on the basis of automated processing where such processing produces legal effects.

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 30 days of receipt, as required by law. Additional time may apply for complex requests, in which case we will notify you.
9. Retention and Destruction of Information
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or to meet our legal and regulatory obligations (see retention periods in Section 3).
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal information is securely destroyed or irreversibly anonymized, in accordance with ADIpro’s internal rules and the requirements of the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI).
10. Security Measures
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction:
- Encrypted transmission via HTTPS protocol (SSL/TLS certificate);
- Restricted access to personal information, limited to individuals who require it in the course of their duties;
- Regular updates to systems and platforms used;
- Hosting with providers that apply recognized security standards.
11. Privacy Incidents
A privacy incident is any unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of personal information, as well as any loss of such information or other breach of its protection.
In accordance with Law 25, in the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious harm, ADIpro commits to:
- Notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI) within the prescribed timeframes;
- Notify the affected individuals whose information has been compromised;
- Record the incident in an incident register, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

12. Minors
Our site is designed for business use by adults and registered dealers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 14 without prior parental or legal guardian consent. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we may delete it.
13. Links to Third-Party Sites
Our site may contain links to third-party websites (brands, manufacturers, social media, etc.). These links are provided for your convenience only. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before sharing any personal information with them.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any significant change will be communicated to you by email or through a prominent notice on the website. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of this document.
