We are excited to announce RØDE’s annual short film competition, In 2021, My RØDE Reel is the biggest yet with a major prize of US$250,000 up for grabs – the largest cash prize ever offered in a short film competition.
Entries are open now and close on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021. We would love your support to spread the word and get as many people involved as possible. More entries ultimately result in more people buying and using RØDE gear as one of the requirements is to share behind the scenes footage highlighting what RØDE gear they used to create their films.
WHAT IS MY RØDE REEL?
My RØDE Reel is the World’s Largest Short Film Competition. Now in its 8th year, this global competition has become a key calendar event for the world’s filmmakers. Over the last 7 years over 20,000 films have been entered from 94 countries around the world, with RØDE awarding millions of dollars in cash and gear to filmmakers of all levels of experience.
The competition has launched hundreds of filmmaking careers by providing a global platform for gaining exposure, offering grants and scholarships, and giving away tonnes of RØDE microphones and filmmaking gear. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for My RØDE Reel 2021!
